Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2026

Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the RICERY platform (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

These terms apply to all users, including individuals accessing the Service on behalf of an organization. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

Description of service

RICERY is an adversarial quality gate that runs automated security and correctness testing against your codebase. The Service includes adversarial agents, break detection, case file reporting, regression arming, and integrations with developer tools such as GitHub, Linear, Sentry, Slack, Notion, and Datadog.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time, with or without notice.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to authorize RICERY to access and analyze your codebase and connected systems. You must not use the Service to attack systems you do not own or have explicit permission to test.

You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to reverse engineer the Service; (c) interfere with the operation of the Service; (d) misrepresent your identity or affiliation.

Intellectual property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Service, including all intellectual property rights, remain with Ricery, Inc. These terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or brand features without our prior written consent.

The outputs of RICERY runs — case files, break replays, root-cause summaries — are provided to you for your use in improving your own codebase. We do not claim ownership of those outputs.

Data and confidentiality

We treat your codebase and run outputs as confidential. We do not share your data with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.

We do not use your codebase, run outputs, or break data to train AI models without your explicit written consent.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ricery, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

Either party may terminate these terms at any time. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately.

We may suspend or terminate your account without notice if we determine that you have violated these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.
